Today was the first time that I've used my Ovation standing up with a strap and the darn thing kept flipping up? that is to say the bottom was coming up towards me and it made it really hard to play. How do you guys deal with this problem? Or do I have a strap button in the wrong place? thank you. |

There is also an attachment marketed on ebay (ironically called 'standingovation') which claims to solve this problem by giving the guitar a more squared surface to rest against your body. I have not tried it, but it would seem to make sense. |

I checked out the "Standing Ovation" attachment, that is almost funny but, not as funny as the guitar swinging outward!
It is a bit pricey? No?
Here's the link to the ebay ad.
Thank you for your input!

I don't know, this standing ovation thing does seem silly in a way, but who knows maybe it really does the trick? If they have a return policy I'd be inclined to try one.

I'm giving it some serious consideration.
I wonder if anyone on this forum owns one? |

Location: Phoenix AZ | You know what? I just bought one this second. What the hell. It's got a 30 day money back policy, so worst case I'm out the shipping cost. I'll check it out and give you guys a review. Who knows, it might just work. And believe me, I've wasted money on crazier stuff than this.

Dave Did you ever receive the "Standing Ovation"?
I might have missed the review.
Thanks. |

I want to give a review (it REALLY WORKS), but I wanted to include photos. I'll get it done this weekend. It's a stupid thing and a lot of people on this board laugh at it. But son of a gun, it actually does work and makes the guitar ride like a contour bowl when standing.
