We all have our favorites...
Has anyone tried one of these ? I think it would be pretty cool if it was just plain, but I like the fulcrum/one-handed design idea. The options are icing on the cake.

(As you can tell, no, I haven't tried them... I wonder if they're really any better than the Planet Waves models (of which I have several and like them), or the G7 (which I also haven't tried)?

My thoughts exactly.
I got black and silver metal "Ned Steinberger" (PW) capos...
And a coupla red plastic ones that came free in EXP strings.
I also got a coupla Kysers that came Free-in-the-case with Used guitars.

Location: Wayne, NJ | I like the Planet Waves/Daddarrio (that I also got free), because you can adjust the tension without having to take it off. (It's called the NS Capo Lite - lite because its a plastic model). Regarding the new Thalia - the way I play guitar, I'm not moving a capo during a song. I have a Shubb which is OK. I tried the G7 which is around $40.00, which I though buzzed like mad and was the worst that I tried. And I didn't the huge apparatus hanging off of the fretboard. It gets in the way of my fretting hand.
So there you go - free is best IMO. |

Location: UK | Yes, NS Capo Lite is so simple, light (as the name suggests!) and great. But unfortunately it doesn't fit on my Standard Elite as the neck is too slim for it, so I've been using the NS Tri-Action capo, which works great. NS Capo Lite still fits on my Balladeer perfectly though. |

I've also noticed this about the NS Capo - doesn't clamp well enough on some thinner necks.
I've also modified one NS Capo Lite, making it into a cut capo, so I can use it for "dropped D" (key of E, of course), or even leave both the low E and A strings open... |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | I have at least a dozen capos laying around in various gig bags, but find I don't use any of them much anymore. My favorite was an old brass Victor that I had to rebuild with new pads a few years back. I believe Dunlop bought them out and now produces the same model with their name on it. |

I paid $3.50 for it in 2007. I rarely use it.
(I usually use the black NS capo that is in my backpack guitar case)

Location: Frozen Tundra of Minnesota | I found mine down in a closet a few weeks ago, I was so excited, until I took it out, and it looked like it would fit a 12 year old boy.... my nephew was with me, and got a Vintage Levi Jean Jacket, he is a 12 year old boy... Hard to believe I was ever that small!!!
I saw an Ovation Jean Jacket on ebay, for $100, but I am hoping that DW will come out with their own line of Ovation Wear, and I can get a new one from them!!!
