Does anybody out there in the Ovation nation have a neck that would fit my 1973 standard balladeer bowl Assembly..? Something from close to the original/correct era and model would be my first choice.. but I'm open to (polite) alternative suggestions.. Thanks

There is a couple of bolt-on necks on eBay, one is for an Adamas and the other for a shallow bowl Balladeer.

As you're probably aware, the 1973 Ovations all had glue-on necks, so those would not work without modifications to your bowl.

What's the problem with the neck on your guitar?

It might help if you posted a pic or two of the bowl showing where the neck would mount.

Good idea Dan...I posted the bowl Assembly for sale in this forum in July 2014...I don't know if it could be bumped,or linked to this post...but that post is still hanging out if anyone wants.to have a look... you'll have to scroll through my first unsuccessful blank attempts to post photos..thanks again to Jay for his help back then..it's in such decent shape ,I got another case of project guilt and decided to see if I could find a neck and get it playing, instead of just haunting the closet..thanks to all for looking and helping...
