Has Guild produced any guitars at the Oxnard facility?
I SURE HOPE NOT !!!
To me the Guild name hit its pinnacle in New Hartford (at least the acoustics). Some of THE best damn guitars I ever played were New Hartford Guilds and I ended up buying seven of them !!!
To slap a "Guild" logo on some faux piece of shite coming out of cordoba would be complete sacrilege right up there with putting an Ovation logo on something that isn't really Ovation as we know it. Don't get me wrong, cordoba builds a great ukulele for the $200 price range which I would recommend wholeheartedly.
Ironically the (already) asian made line of Guild GAD series guitars are actually not bad at all. |

Location: 6 String Ranch | Contract disputes? As in Union? They're skrewed. Connecticut has to be one of the most unfriendly business climates, that liberal sob governor is running the state into the ground. I could never figure why DW wants to be there, then it dawns on me, it's got to be better than trying to produce something in California. |
