Location: Texas | I've been feeling the itch for a more traditional acoustic lately, and cannot justify owning two. I have for you a 2008 Ovation 2778LX Elite Standard made in the USA. This was the last year these were made in the US. They were replaced by the AX model and are made somewhere in Asia.
The guitar is in Excellent++ condition. No scratches, dents or dings. The sound hole epaulets are inlaid, not glued on top , like some other models.
Priced at $650 + shipping via Google Wallet or Paypal Gift. Trade Value $750. Hard shell case included.
I am looking for a Taylor 210 or an Eastman E10SS.
Sale and trades are for US only.
Feel free to ask lots of questions (about the guitar). Thank you.

Location: Tennessee | Good price for a very nice guitar. Good luck with the sale, although my personal opinion is that neither the Taylor nor Eastman will come close to Ovation in terms of sound or playability. As far as traditional wood boxes go, also check out the F-series Takamines. |

It has a "2" as the first number, and it has swoosh on the label.
Plus there is a photo of the back of the bowl.
just trying to be helpful.

Location: Wayne, NJ | Thanks for your response Cajun. And thanks "for being helpful" OMA. Another question then: A contour is basically the same "depth" as a medium, but with the "contour" on the bottom? Off topic: OMA - how do you like the GCS771? I have the same guitar. Mine sounds awesome. Cajun: In all honesty, it's looks like a sweet guitar at the right price, but like you said, I can't justify two Ovations. I already have a 2007. As they say: new guitars are expensive, but practice is free - lol. |

Location: Hot Springs, S.D. | These are great guitars. If I had the extra cash right now I would be all over this. The only thing I see wrong with it is it needs a new set of strings BADLY! :D
If you MUST get a woodbox, I second the Larrive. |

Location: Texas | Hey everyone. Thanks for all the replies. I thought this thread was dead since it had no movement for some time. I just answered the pm's I received. I still have the guitar and it is still for sale or trade. I did just put new strings on it, so the tone and tuning is much better. Lol |
