Location: Muenster/Germany | The soundholes of my woodtop adamas were drilled so that the structure of the different woods become visible. I like that. The soundholes of my 1537 were quite raw and not very fine made. Today I took a little time to work them over, fine sand and plish from inside, now I have the adamas specs on my elite.

I don't know what the difference was... I think that one was bigger.
But they are both the same size now.

They look like the same photo, I don't see any difference.
The "after" photo from the original post shows the difference. Clean sound holes with the wood exposed so the layers and structure is visible. Quite nice, actually, but I would consider sealing the surface maybe with shellac or something. |

the surfaces are sealed with wax against moisture or dirt. I had this stupid idea because I love all the wooden appointments of the 1537 guitar. |
