Location: SE Michigan | Saw it last night. I thought that Clapton and Winwood's rendition of "Had to Cry Today" was incredible. They havn't lost a step and are probably even a whole lot better than they were back in the Blind Faith era. |

He is very good. derek trucks was voted by rolling stone as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time. he and his band will be here in hilo next saturday, (dec. 8) at the palace theatre. i believe my wife and i are gonna go. |

Location: Alberta, Canada | Saw it too, and as a player who can't really play, I enjoyed the whole thing. In fact I taped it so my son can see it when he gets home in a week or so. I really liked the tone of John Mayers guitar. It's the one that stood out for me, but I enjoyed it all.
I applaude Clapton for organizing such a great event. I'm sure historians will thank him. Whether it's forethought or not on his part, many of those players are getting on in years and to have them all at one event is remarkable. |
