Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | Well, well, well...... What's all the excitement around here recently? What a difference a year can make eh? So let's take all this enthusiasm and run with it. Who's up for a 2016 calendar? As usual, I need pictures, and with summer coming, you all have plenty of time to plan that trip to the Amazon, or the Egyptian Pyramids.....or maybe the DW factory or something.....and create stunning images of your favorite guitars. Heck, snitch Damon's blanket while you're at his little NW Gathering this summer if that helps! (Or there's always your back deck.) The higher the resolution, the better. Every year I have to reject photos that blur too much when I format them. Take at least 5-8 photos from various angles and distances. Don't worry about editing/formatting them as I will do that to fit them into the overall layout for the project....whatever that may be. Also, and of some importance, I would like to receive all submissions by August 1st. But sooner is always better. Due to some email difficulties last year, I thought I might try something different. If you click the link below, you will be able to drag-and-drop your pictures into a "Drop Box" I've set up just for this project. The old calendar email is still available as well. (ofc-calendar@patchworkmcg.com) I do have one additional request, please add you username here on the OFC to the titles of your pictures to help keep them all organized. Here's the link: Calendar Photo File If we can get all of the photos by the end of summer, I should be able to deliver the calendars before Thanksgiving. For those who have not received them in the past, feel free to peruse through the pictures in my calendar galleries to see what you've been missing: 2013 OFC Calendar 2014 OFC Calendar 2015 OFC Calendar.....so far It's always fun for me to see the fine instruments all of you have managed to come across. It also cause terrible, TERRIBLE G.A.S. (You've been warned...)

Upon acquiring a damaged 2001 Collector's, he sourced a perfectly tapped piece of Sinker Redwood and had Mothership (Rest its musical soul...) reincarnate it as a custom wood-topped Adamas."
Thank God the Mothership's soul has not entered into rest just yet...it looks as though DW, like DVD, is not going to let this wounded duck drown...with this much time to get pictures, I can't wait to see what the 2016 Calendars are going to look like! Thanks again for bearing "the Cross" Patch! |

Location: Boise, Idaho | I think Damon was too busy playing during the last Gathering to take pictures. We also noticed that for most of the weekend the guitars were set up against the backdrop of his garbage cans. He should have thrown the red blanket over them. |

Some very fine guitars have been changing hands around here. Exercise your right to gloat a little and send me some pictures! |

I'm working to have Jay's Balladeer done sometime in September.
If I'm able to complete it before your deadline and if it looks photogenic enough, I'd be happy to submit some pics of it for the 2016 Calendar.
