 | No affiliation, but just noticed this one: https://reverb.com/item/558338-ovation-legend-1617-ale-2011-sunburst-15-of-50 Looks very nice. Though as a lot of people on Reverb do, it's listed as "Brand New" which I don't think it is. |

 | I owned one of these and WHAT a nice sounding guitar. One of the last USA models ever built and they could not have ended on a higher note. |

 | I've been noodling over the one Al has for sale for a while. The money always seems to go to more pressing needs, like the IRS. |

 | It is brand new. It's actually mine. I purchased it this last fall from a dealer. I've played it once or twice. Been in it's case ever since. |

 | As StandingO and Mark have stated, it really is a wonderfully made and sounding guitar. Only reason I am trying to sell it is because I got in a little to deep on a 78 Wide Neck Adamas. |

 | Why not officially post it on here where it might get some more appreciation?

 | Maybe just semantics but to me, "brand new" means never owned except by the dealer. A more accurate description would be "used, in like new condition". Just my way of thinking.

 | Actually in my ad I state it's as close to brand new as you can get. |

Here's the text copied from the Reverb ad:

"2011 Ovation Legend 1617-ALE Limited Edition Acoustic Guitar. Only 50 of these guitars were made and this one is #15. Guitar is brand new from my collection, unplayed, unmolested and virtually mint. No scratches, dents, dings or anything. Still has the original strings that is shipped with from the factory. These have an Adirondack Spruce top, Sunburst finish, maple neck, tortoise body and neck binding, OP Pro Studio Pre Amp. Sounds amazing, plays amazing. One of the finest wood tops to come out of New Hartford. Comes with COA, original case and all documents. See link for full specs. Not much else to say about this guitar except it is a real beauty and absolutely perfect in every way."
