You are the experts. Is it possible to replace or find a suitable replacement neck and all for an Eclipse?

I'd take pictures but I don't have the guitar in my possession yet. Just won it in an auction and suddenly stared really close at the poor images the seller provided and started to panic that it might be broken. It's a black eclipse, or so it appears based on the pups, but it has white binding on the body and while it's painted black it doesn't appear to be the bowl finish because the paint is more crackled like a regular black bowl finish. Not sure of the year or actually even the model.

If it is possible, if someone has a collection of necks laying around then that's my first hurdle. I'll also need to figure out the electronics or have a pro figure it for me, and then locate a pick guard.

Am I just on a crazy impossible adventure trying to repair and rebuild this instrument?

Do we have a pro or two in the OFC who performs miracles on old guitars?

Thanks, folks.

After comparing the pictures of this one to a few others I found online, I might be crazy but it looks like it never got the paint job that other Eclipses got when the bodies came over from Germany not looking great. Did some go to market without getting bowl black paint jobs?

Sounds to me like whatcha got there is a Tornado model, not an Eclipse. Both models were part of the Storm series.

Here's some of them on the OvationTribute.com site.

Yes, that's it. And the good news is the seller finally sent me the image I asked for. I was worried it was a screw job (a screw rigging the headstock back together). Not so. It's the number 2. What do you suppose that means?

I've read it designates a factory 2nd.

A couple past threads on the subject:
