Hi All,

So my UK II parts search seems to have become a little bit of a fixation for me...

The two parts are the plastic bridge cover (no leads as of yet) and a pickguard. I wrote to custompickguards@wdmusic.com who told me that I need to provide them with a tracing of the said pickguard (which I don't have) if I want them to make me a replacement.

Can anyone help provide me with a tracing for their own UK II pickguard? It would be most helpful!
Or better still, if anyone has one they wish to part with...

All the best

M

I tossed mine and the later models didn't come with one.

Professor has one on his UKll that I sold him.
He might be persuaded to make a tracing for you.

I hate to be the bearer of bad new, but once you get the pickguard, you'll need the mounting bracket as well. I may actually have one.

I found a pick online that shows the bracket.

Those brackets came from the Harmony auction. Once we ran out we stopped putting on pickguards. I think they look better without but what do I know, I just ran a gas station for airplanes.

I think they have a certain "retro" quality with the pickguard on and really like the idea of having one, for completeness sake. PMs sent...

Miles' photo looks exactly like mine. I'll trace out the design and send it to Merlin.

The Black model always seems to look good with or without the pickguard. The other colors somewhat depend on my mood. It really gives the guitar a whole different vibe.
