Location: Keepin' It Weird in Portland, OR | So I got the Adamas SSB from QuietMouse...
That is the 1881 with it's cousin, the 1868T.
I promptly took the 1881 outside and played it (it was 70° today in Portland, Oregon).
Both the 1881 and the 1868T are surprisingly loud for SSB's. But the 1881 is louder.
And the 1881 has an Optima, so it is great sounding plugged-in.
Plus it is really purdy with outies.

I have had my 1681-5 since 2009.
And I recently acquired the Blue textured-top W957T from Al.
This 1881 is very comfortable and I will be using it a lot.

| First thing that strikes you is how well it projects for an SSB. That lightweight composite soundboard can
really move some air.
