Yeah, well, don't ask how much time & energy went into this litter-critter. It did come out pretty well, though. The rim was the leftover soundwell from the Matrix/Rouge REZ-XII project, a couple of years ago (the one in the 2014 calendar). I started putting together pieces, & it took on a life-of-its-own. The neck is poplar, and the peghead veneer is some maple burl. The back is solid spruce, the top is mahogany plywood. All leftovers!
Truly......bottomfeeding luthiery, at it's most rudimentary.

And, yes, it does have a "static" (unadjustable) trussrod
