Location: United States | Hi,
Someone is selling a 1996 Ovation 12 String Legend but the tuners have me wondering...They are chrome with pearloid knobs. I thought the Legend's came with gold tuners.
Possibly a minor point but I am buying online and if the tuners are wrong it makes me wonder what else may be.
Any ideas?

Just guessing...

On the 1866 I bought new the tuners were gold and the buttons were pearloid.

Location: sitting at my computer | Phred - I thought the Legend's came with gold tuners. I thought so too, since all my Legends have 'em, but after checking out the Legend photo in the 1996 catalog I'm not so sure. They look silver or chrome to me. And the features list doesn't indicate gold (or chrome). ?? http://www.ovationtribute.com/Catalogues/1996_January_Ovation_US_Long_Catalog/1996_January_Ovation_US_Long_Catalog.html |

Location: closely held secret | Maybe the 1867 had chrome, I can't recall. I do remember my 1866 looked like this (in natural) but with gold tuners.
