Location: Upper Left USA | This one came to me with some dents, cracks and preamp issues which have been fixed, filled and polished for the most part. Outstanding sound and playability this 1537 comes with a newer case and the covetted vinyl flight case cover. I am asking $1,000.00 USD with free shipping CONUS. Take a look in the photo album and feel free to ask questions.

Location: Upper Left USA | I know my price point is higher than what my frugal friends would like to see but consider the following: - Brand new high end case. - Flight case cover - the last one I saw on Ebay went for $75 plus shipping and was a bargain. - I've gone through the electronics using original parts which are getting hard to find. - All finish cracks are sealed good for another lifetime. - Set up is right where I like it using EXP12 the 80/20 Bronze .013-.056 for that deep, bright and projecting tone (couldn't resist). If someone wants a 1537 this is a safe bet. If not, it's back on my wall of awesomeness...

Location: Blue Ridge Mountains | The best thing about these guitars is the sound...of the hundreds of Ovation (not including Adamas) guitars that I have owned in the past 41 years, the 1537 has the best all around tone...the bass is huge but not overwhelming...the balance between middle and treble is accented in the way they are blended with the bass to produce a beautiful clear voice...unfortunately very few of these guitars has survived the 31 or 32 years in pristine condition...the top lacquer in most cases has checked/cracked...but it has not affected the tone in the slightest...I have owned three and my current one is checked the worst... But, I feel it helps tell the story of the guitar...Woody has crafted some fine instruments and has brought many "injured" survivors back to playability and a 2nd life with a new owner...these are hard to find...as long as the guitars play well, and the electronics are in good shape, it is a great investment! If Mike says it's good, no doubt it is just that or better!

I hope to post this weekend some of my BFLG love-children. |

But whatever you post, please keep in mind that I'm weak. I'm really struggling with not buying the 1537. I already have 2 deep body non-cutaways or else the 1537 would be on it's way to OH. As I'm typing....I think I bought a guitar from you in the past.
Best of luck selling the 1537. It's definitely a winner. |

Location: Texas | I can't believe that this guitar didn't sell within minutes of posting. I already own a very nice 1537 and I'm STILL tempted by this one. I suspect that most folks here who've had a chance to play (and HEAR) one in person have already managed to get their hands on one, and perhaps those that haven't just don't know what they're missing? |

Current bidder is from Russian Federation which has me a little nervous but we'll see. |

Still have the Flight Case though. It wouldn't fit over the case? |
