Location: South Wales, UK | Hi All, I have been browsing the forum for little while and finally decided to take the plunge and Join in.
A Little about me I am live in South Wales and I am keen novice guitar player having returned to guitars as part of my midlife crisis. I was 50 in November and treated myself to an epiphone les Paul and amp etc. I last played and owned a guitar when I was 22.??. I got the bug again and my very nice wife treated me to an Applause Balladeer in honey-burst for Christmas, this has now become my pick up and play guitar of choice - love it.
I look forward to browsing this forum and contributing when I can and I am sure I will be picking your brains and asking your advice regularly in the future.
And now for my first bit advice if I may, I have browsed here and don't seem to be able to find the answer, but apologise if the question has been asked before. I have come up against a problem, the low battery light keeps coming on for the preamp and tuner and the preamp has become intermittent after only six days of occasional use. I have tried to replace the battery but I have been unable to open the battery cover/compartment; it appears to be jammed solid and will not move at all, and now the little plastic tab has snapped off.
Can you give me any help or advice?
