Yes it is. One is for sale here in NOVA. I had an Applause for a while and thought it would be much better amplified. It did not have the rich sound of my Balladeer, but then, what does? :-)

The SSBs have a sweet little sound of their own. played acoustically, but even they are not _very loud they do not as such _need an amp. In that matter they are like other small body acoustics.
