In the early 90's, I was the Ovation "Keyman Endorsee" at "Vesley Music" in Las Vegas, Nev. The Ovation Rep. and Jerry Vesley gave me an Elite, serial #5868. I still have that guitar, and play it daily !! I have a few guitars, but she's my baby. Just got here,(analog dog) looking forward to learning. Is 5868 the model number maybe? Those are beauties with the angel step walnut tops, and so comfortable to play with the shallow bowl.
