I bought a soundhole cover a month or so ago and as I seem to play plugged in most of the time I leave it in there.

Does a guitar need to breathe and can leaving the cover in stop it from doing so, or is it OK for it to be there all the time.

It sounds silly but this is a serious question...although I will accept silly answers :)
