Location: Utah | Thinking ahead on a project for my 15 yr old's Sweet Sixteen next summer. She loves the look of the white Breadwinner. But I think it would look even better with the maple fretboard.
So did they ever make any like that? |

Location: Upper Left USA | I have a Custom Shop Deacon with a Maple neck and FB so it is possible. I don't believe any were "off the shelf" that way though.
That sounds a lot better than getting her a Pony!
If she/you don't require a stock unit we could plan something out. Is she already playing guitar?

Location: Utah | Yeah, this would be for my 15 yr old who plays the Red Flame 1778T. She saw me browsing Breadwinners/Deacons and fell in love with a white one with the rosewood fingerboard.
If I were to refinish a body, what kind of paint should I use to get a gloss white finish, like the (dare I say it) Stratocaster? I've seen pickguards and necks available on EBay, so I could buy a different color Breadwinner and refinish it. |

Unfortunately the girls won't let me be their recording engineer. They like to record on a laptop in the middle of the night using a crappy mic. Very reminiscent of myself at that age, recording on a reel-to-reel in the middle of the night! |

It would have to be special ordered. That's next year in the Fender era, good luck. |
