Location: Steeler Nation, Hudson Valley Contingent | I've been meaning to post this thread for a while. The problem that led to the procrastination was that I tried this idea here and on another forum first. That was months ago! So depending on your point of view, it may or may not be a mistake to attempt this exercise. But regardless of that, make sure you have some time to kill before embarking in the way-back machine. Be aware however, that the longer you have maintained a digital existence, the more frought with potential peril the journey becomes. Now that I'm back in the present, I can confidently say that I am comfortably consistent in most respects. BUT! Some of my perceptions have changed enough that it surprised me, especially since I had not noticed the change that passing time had so subtly wrought, so.....Be wary good traveler. Now finally....to the point..... Have you ever clicked the search feature and dug up old threads you posted in? Proceed at your own risk and don't say I didn't warn you. |

And when you go looking around in the Vault you get to see posts from people who haven't been around for years.

Location: Boise, Idaho | I had my Matrix that we bought new in 77, had just discovered ebay and the difference between a Celebrity Deluxe and an Elite the hard way. I bought a Celebrity Deluxe and traded up for a 99 Collector. Like most of us, I started out asking a bunch of dumb questions and learned to do some research first. Ovation was hot then, with the new LX neck, the 2005 Collector and a bunch of Reissues. The Factory Tours were the rage and a bucket list item that won't be filled for me. I did meet a bunch of OFCers over that next year, some individually and some at the 2006 Ovation Gathering in Portland. |

There's a reason for that, and unlike Clifford, it has nothing to do with llamas....... |
