Of course HUGE Shrimp with cocktail sauce will be around all day for both holidays for keeping the hunger under control until the main meal is served.
Lanaki whats for dinner in paradise and it better not be a salad for the main course.
You need alot more RED RED MEAT in your diet.Happy Holidays.GWB |

Contrary to popular belief a "Shrimp on the Barbie" is not really Aussie Christmas fare.
We are pretty traditional(or Colonial)
Merry Christmas all

Location: GA USA | Beggin! Collard greens and Black eyed peas are a must. I used to drive to my dad's house on new years for them. He was a wonderful cook, and Cathy won't mess with collards. Now that he's gone, I bake cornbread, and eat canned peas and collards on New Years Day. But the Glory brand of greens is pretty good.
We go to the north GA mtns each year for Christmas with Cathy's family. This year all 10 of us are taking a 2 hour shift on Christmas Day, serving at a "feed the hungry" dinner. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Finger food. Anything that can be transported easily downstairs to the band room, and yet still remain edible after sitting on a plate for a few hours. I guess I'm just not that much into food. I fried my taste buds years ago eating really spicy Mexican food, so if it isn't super savory, or blackened with pepper, it all pretty much tastes the same to me. I don't do subtle. |

Exactly the same as last year!!! :D
It's a typical christmas dinner in France.
There will only be 5 plates this year on the table but I'm sure that it will be a great time. ;)

Do you realize how many eggs and fungis had to be killed for your dinner? Considering myself one of the fungis around here, I feel both offended and threatened. |

Well, you'd have to consider if the fungus was sentient I suppose, then you could put a bolt gun to its head and kill it anyway. |
