Location: Colorado | Not sure if this has been covered - but I gave myself a couple yuks last night as I opened a case I had not been into for a while. I found a couple old tortex picks, what appears to be a very rusty "e" string...an empty bottle of Professor Farley's String Sudser (anyone else remember that stuff?) and believe it or not... a snickers bar and an old television remote control - I have long since replaced. I cannot figure out how the remote got there...and I'll take the 5th on the other stuff. It made me empty out the more commonly used guitar's compartment - nothing but the typical - pics - tools - capo.... etc. So....what's in your storage compartment? |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Sounds like you watch TV and play guitar at the same time, like I do. I usually find the remote in the cushions, though. I cleaned out all the cases, only leaving the manuals, receipts, etc. that came with the guitars. The only oddity I have is the homemade (by Alaska Fly Guy) humidifier in the Ute case. |

All the other junk is now in a gig bag, an old Trace Elliot amp head bag. Keep all the shit in one place, it's easier to know where to look for it then in a panic. |

Location: NJ | The compartment in my MagnumIV case has a yellowed, piece of lined loose-leaf note pad with a hand-scrawled note from John Budney sucking-up to Charlie Kaman (or maybe it was Beal) after servicing the electronics in it . . .
I'll have t'scan it & post it.
(sorry, JB) ;) |

Is sucking up in 2008 the same as it was in the 80's?
Stay tuned! |

Interesting.
Whitehead's contains the same,
except instead of a guitar, he uses it for his folding shovel . . . |
