The Ovation 30" stool from Sigler arrived on Friday. I compared it against the 24" Fender logo stool purchased four years ago. Without regard to the height difference, the construction of the two stools is almost identical at first blush. However, the Fender stool is a USA product while the Ovation comes from China. The difference in quality between the two is noticeable in areas such as workmanship, materials, chrome plating on the legs, the bearings in the swivel seat, the seat material, etc. That said, the Ovation stool is still a great bargain at less than a third of the retail cost of the USA Fender stool. Of course, these stools have nothing to do with the manufacturer whose logo is imprinted on the seat material, but they do reflect a general sense and perspective of quality based on their sale cost and country of origin. As the old axiom goes, you get what you pay for. |

Also, if you turn it upside down you could seat 4 gay guitarists |

Over the holiday we had a friends dog staying with us. On the last day I'm down in the music room and the dog lays a big one out on the carpet. As it was soaking into the carpet I noticed it looked like it was forming letters. I had to go get my glasses cause I can't read shit without them. |

Sure don't take long for a thread to go in toilet around here. I think it's crap. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | The second one arrived today. Now I have a 24 and 30 inch. Thought the 30 would be too tall, but my leg only slopes slightly downward. If I'd lose the weight I gained over the holidays, I might sit lower. I'm missing one of the little black caps on the legs. The box was open and someone might have cannibalized mine for another, since mine was the last one they had. Still a great addition to the music room. Ready for guests. |

Think outside the box, Mark. Gain a little more and you'll make the 30 a 24 in no time. |

Location: Colorado Rocky Mountains | Hey Mark, the box mine arrived in was opened as well and, upon closer inspection, I now notice that one of the black leg caps has marks all over it as if it was handled separately, maybe replaced very recently. Thanks much, Buddy! |
