For Sale: ADAMAS I 2006 MODEL 1687-8 REVERSE BLUEBURST.

This is a brand new Adamas I model 1687-8 from 2006. Don't confuse this with the current model 1687GT (and it's $5500. list price), this guitar is the Real McCoy from 2006 built in limited numbers to the same specs and details of the original Adamas I. It has the metallic speckled deep bowl and the stereo FET pre-amp with wooden volume and tone controls (the so-called 2-Knobber). This guitar is a classic in every way and has the sound that will knock you for a loop if you've never heard one of these.

If you are reading this thread you KNOW what this guitar is, so I will spare the details. Just do a Search. Condition is brand new, in the case, never played, never even tuned. Case is also new. If you want to own one of Ovation's finest pieces ... this is it.

SPECIAL PRICE OF $2000. + S/H between now and Labor Day in the 48 US states.

Special? I dunno ... I've got eleven Adamas guitars and would like to thin it down to single digits.

Wow! Just received the guitar. Beautiful and pristine Dave. Not sure if I should tune and play it or have it cryogenically stored for the future.
