Hey all.

I have a vintage Ovation with the Spanish style slot head tuners, and unfortunately one of the machine heads is busted. I took it to my luthier, who threw his hands up and told me that the parts were unavailable and there was nothing I could do. Do you folks have any ideas?

Thanks much,
Joe

Contact Al at http://www.lostartvintage.com
Or Stewart at http://www.stewmac.com/

If you are talking about a steel string 3-on-a-plate Folklore tuners, I have seen that Al has one listed.
If you are talking about the nylon classical version, he might have one of them too.
Otherwise, I know that I bought generic 3-on-a-plate tuners from stewmac.
Your Luthier has no ambition.
