Which Ovation/Adamas model do you feel has the best unplugged sound? I like a nice, well balanced tone, where all frequency ranges are represented equally, as well as a good amount of warmth and projection. |

#54 works for me. |

I don't know if the neck width can have an impact but that guitar sounds so good.

Each has it's own voice, now with that said there was this Q that Cliff had on the tour a couple years ago what an awesome guitar that was. Man she was beautiful long silky legs deep brown eyes soft sweet lips OH back to the guitar it was awesome.

And I was in no way talking about Cliff he would make for one ugly woman I mean UGLY |

1)Mine! My MEWP (In the sense of mine, not Beal's!)
2)Beal's 2080 baritone that I got to play at the Northeast Gathering
3)47RI
4)87 collector's that currently resides in Florida |

After that it's a dead heat ...
Jerome's Adamas II slothead
47RI slothead
FD14 slothead
OFC slothead
Not far behind ...
Kurt's poo-burst 1687
Jeff's cutaway U681-2
My own acoustic U681
Temp's 1581 single sider
Glen Campbell reissue
Just one man's view of the world.

The best sounding O/A that I have is the OFC slothead. And I'd proudly put it up against almost anything else. After that, every day is different. |

It's the only thing that makes sense Jerome was referring to his Adamas II black wideneck. I've played it and it is AMAZING. Sometimes a specific guitar has "The Juice". That one definately does.
