I own a 1972 Ovation 1122-4 classical. Was this one of the "Balladeer" line? In any case, it's been a wonderful guitar, and I've hauled it all around the country since picking it up in 1982.

Now it has a broken tuner. I have looked through lots and lots or replacement parts online and studied lots of schematic drawings, but I just can't be sure I'm finding something that will fit. It has a slotted headstock, so that limits the options and increases the variables as well. I don't mind spending the money to get it back in good condition, but I need to know that what I'm ordering will work.

I sincerely appreciate any help you can provide. It's fun to find this community with so many dedicated enthusiasts. Thank you.

I know that Al (alpep) has a Folklore slothead tuner assembly listed on eBay... HERE
But that is really for steel strings.

You can contact Al through this board or go to his website.
lostartvintage.com

That might be productive.
