Hi Dan,

Welcome. Sounds like a nice family treasure you have there! Don't be stingy, share a pic with us all. I'd love to see it.

Go to Waskel's or The Wabbit's gallery in the Member Access section. He posts instructions there.

Is that part of a Bigsby 'style' vibrato or the remainders of an actual Bigsby?....

First off, I've learned from this group that the 2 branded neck means it's a second. No biggie in playing pleasure but takes it's value down, just like the post-factory modifications made to mine.

Just from the lack of thumb wear marks on the back of the neck I'd say this guitar crys out to be played a whole lot more.

Tornado with Tremolo. That's the original Tremolo. It's just missing the arm and maybe the spring (hard to tell in the picture).

I still wonder if an "Ovation" factory 2nd actually has any affect on the value. It might, I just don't know.

A question first. Why is your name all in lower case, but you type with all capitals and no punctuation?

It's registry settings. "lower case disabled" and "punctuation disabled".

True, but all caps and no punctuation is much more difficult to read and some people tend to just ignore posts written like that.

Not criticism, just a friendly word. Of course you're free to post any way you like within the Board rules...

That, and...it looks so much like shouting...

But as long as you're not paying any attention to what you write, I'd presume it's good enough for everyone else to behave in a similar fashion.

That's super Dan.

There are folks who are always shopping for guitars, they spend more time over in the "For Sale" section. This is a bunch of cut-ups and self-defined funny people chatting and kibbitzing.
