So far the only 1 (and a half) I attended was/were August 2006 at gh1's in Portland (very well attended and lot's of fun) and last July when Miles and Lisa came for 2 1/2 days of music and road cruises at the Vancouver Island Music Festival. (even more fun...cos it lasted longer.)
So, which ones do YOU remember? ('course, remembering MAY be part of the problem...) |

Location: 6 String Ranch | A gathering, I'd say something that at least some people have to make a special effort to go to and it is planned quite a bit in advance and announced here. Three local guys getting together wouldn't count, posting here that it was going to be the last Saturday of Feburary and anyone was invited would. Make sense?
so:
Factory tours 5
aug 06 portland 1
July 07 portland 1
Amy's house NJ 07 1
Carolina 07 1
The Atlanta one 1
Denver ???? 1
Texas 2
Moody's house preNAMM 3?
Zillafest 07 1
g8rbowl 08 1
France 1 ?
That's 19 I'm sure I've missed a few. Let's hear from you. Thanks. |

I saw John Hammond Jr. at Vorhees High School in a free concert sponsored by the Camden County Board of Freeholders a number of years ago... Not more than 25 people (auditorium held nearly 1000) including, the residents of a local school for the mentally handicapped sitting directly behind us, showed.
John still put on a great show though, you could tell he was a bit surprised there were so few people in attendance... And that group directly behind us were making all sorts of really funny noises, some voluntary, some not... they were completely ecstatic at being there... and my friend Steve and I were trying sooooo hard to suppress our laughter our eyes watered and we started making funny involuntary noises too. Very fun evening. John was great and the kids behind us were priceless. |

Not my fault only 2 turned up. :(

No, really, it's GOOD to be home. Maybe we can attract a few of the Yank members to the coming Australian OFC gathering by banging the drum for the wonderful weather we enjoy year 'round here in Queensland.
Oh, did you know - you're hosting it?! :D |

and the Denver really should read Boulder and there were two there
That makes 21
Others? Name them with a place and date.
I just thought it would be good to do this before it got too far away from us and gone forever.
I see Miles has announced a NW 08. Let's get the count right if we can before he has that one and then we can get this numbering thing on track. |

The great thing is that we've had four SE gatherings and I've been to all four. The sad thing is that the streak ends in March. |

I agree with Schroeder. It WAS an official OFC gathering and we hit all the criteria except attendees. |

Location: closely held secret | I'm telling you, Cliff, if all you want to do is resize them then Image Resizer is the way to go. It's free, easy and integrates into the Explorer right-click menu. And you can do a bunch at a time.
Here\'s a page that gives some quick instructions.
I recommend copying a bunch to a separate folder, select them all, then resize them to fit a 640x480 screen which should bring them down below 100k. Choose 'Resize the original pictures' (because these are copies anyway) so you don't get filenames with parenths in them (won't work in the gallery). |

Location: GA USA | Or you can set up a droplet in Photoshop that automates it. You drop the files and it opens, resizes, saves and closes them (or any sequence of Pshop commands that you like). A little more headache to set up, but once you have it, it works automatically from then on. |

Busted! I saw that and thought that it didn't take Moody long to start pushing it. Funny stuff.
Tupperware, you are right about g8rbowl. Beal had three Taks and two Nationals. His other 7 or 8 were legal. Odd though, that he's in the pic jamming with a non-O. |

Yep, Beal mostly played either the 75 or the Bluegrass. Different flavors of ice cream... |

I posted, then I read the rules, then I reported my own post to Miles.
I await the proper and due punishment.
Just a suggestion about the Gatherings section.... If Miles "stickyed" the theads in chronological order the would stay that way when new pics were added. Nice, neat & tidy. Orderly. Logical. |
