Hello all. The paint on my black elite t is now starting to flake off from all my strumming. I'd like to touch up that area to match with the rest of the guitar but I'm afraid that I might not be skilled enough to pull it off. Any tips or pointers? It's been with me since '05 and it deserves to be treated well. Thanks

I don't now about the black elite T but you may consider this ... I had similar problem on a -8 blue textured top adamas and I found some NAIL POLISH that matched it almost perfectly. You might have the same luck with matte black.

Previous experience tells me that the black on the 1778T is actually Gloss, or semi gloss...
not Flat.
You can see the gloss paint where the tape was on this T.
Flat black was sprayed everywhere else.
Regular Factory paint 1868T on left... Flat Black painted 2078T on right.
