Location: Jet City | I haven't had the opportunity to bond with an artist bowl yet. I figured I'd try the best.
I'd rather an original slothead, but I don't have that kinda scratch layin' around... assuming someone was even willing to part with one.
I do have another Adamas in my future, but that's gonna be a bit still. The visit to T28's place has had my head spinning. I've been lucky enough to play 3 slothead's now, and for some reason his spoke to me a bit more than the others. Probably the nicest guitar I've EVER played.
Unfortunately, he didn't offer it up, but it still has my head spinning. And then there's the custom OFC... It's never ending i tell you.

I am very sorry. I realized after seeing your pictures that the 40th Anniversary IS NOT the one I'm after. I'm actually looking for the 1627LTD.
Any luck on that one???? Dave? |

Location: Texas | I am guessing that this wasn't a high demand guitar. I wonder how many of these were actually sold to the public. Jimmy Webb said in an article, after the CMA award was given to Glen, that Ovation was handing out these guitars "" I must have signed fifteen or twenty Ovation guitars myself"". I have been waiting for one of those to show up. |

Not sure how many of these Glen Campbell reissues they made. Mine pictured above is #62. |

Location: Phoenix AZ | Oh yes. The one that came with the CD. I thought that was the same guitar, they just took the unsold reissues, put the signature on the last fret and bundled it with an autographed CD to coincide with Glen's CD release ? |

Location: Texas | LOL! Ovation had to be the KING of repurposing. I had always wondered why they would release two separate 1627 re-issues so close together, when the first one didn't seem all that popular. |
