I have known Damon through the board for at least 7 or 8 years...maybe longer but it was really nice to meet face to face. He was bigger/taller than I thought but other than that pretty much as I expected. Played a few of my guitars and had a fun time. just one more example of how this board can bring people together that normally would never meet. Good times! |

Sadly, I thought about pics right about the time Damon had to go.
We will hook up again,,,,and I am sure I speak for the both of us when I say thanks.

Location: Jet City | Stephen, it was great meeting you and the family. Thanks for inviting me into your home and letting me play with your wonderful toys. I'm sure I was looking like Marty Feldman for most of the visit, eyes popping out every time we opened up another case. I'm going to have to go buy bigger speakers now for my space after seeing/hearing yours.
As for pics and luring Stephen onto my blanket, unfortunately I was on someone else's schedule and we made the trip over kinda last minute. I was unprepared, camera-less, and didn't have any of the things with me I had planned on sharing... Save one. I thought about how I shoulda snapped a phone pic or two, too late as well.
I plan on hangin in Denver more frequently, we'll have a longer visit next time. I need to plug that Warrior into an amp!
Thanks again, from both myself and Phil. It was a blast. |

If it was the LongNeck, it was just coming home.

Location: Latitude 39.56819, Longitude -105.080066 | Well, we had about 8 really good original tunes and IMHO the well ran dry.
The guitar player came up with 4-5 new songs that sounded exactly like the first 8.
The drummer and I commented on the repetitiveness of the tunes...
We were told we were amateurs who didn't get it and we could shut up and play the songs the way he told us to or he would find some real musicians who would know what to do with his songs.
Needless to say, we both quit.
Here is what I am currently doing with my band Liquor Biscuit and I couldn't be happier....
