What kind of pickup works well in a mando? There are bridges with a built in piezo, and there are various disks/dots which adhere to the top surface. What works well for decent tone and moderate amplification? Music genre ranges from country to 70's classic soft rock to modern rock.

Schatten just introduced a new mando pickup at NAMM which I'm stocking in the UK. Non-invasive external fitting with a neat little volume control/output-jack assembly which clips to the tailpiece cover.
