| I have a 1981 1617. I checked the Ovation parts chart and my guitar isn't listed. A while ago, the battery box kept falling out. Research revealed that the metal insert used to hold it to the body was bent and the screw would no longer engage to hold it tight. I am assuming I can't buy that piece, and probably have to buy the whole pre-amp assembly? I've sent a message to Ovation, but doubt I'll get an answer. If anyone has had this same issue, what was the solution? Thanx.
