I learned to play on a cheap classical that is long since gone. These days I play a 1867 legend. I would like to know what model ovation classic would be shaped most like my 1867. I want a 2" nut width and cutaway, I wanted to know if there is a model that has these features with the same bowl depth. I think mine would be considered medium bowl. I am honestly not sure if there is a shallow bowl, a medium bowl, and a deep bowl. I have been looking for a 1763 for the 2" nut and cutaway, but it has a deep bowl. Is there a model like the 1763 with a shallower bowl?

That sounds cool. I am just getting back into playing regularly and would appreciate any help I can get. I like the tip about the 1863. I am looking for that and also a 1866. I have an older Glenn Campbell 1618 deep bowl and a 1867 both black. I really want a black 1863 & a black 1866 as the shallow bowl is so much easier to play. I am encouraging my kids to play some so the shallows would help them getting started as well.
