Got a call from my mom the other day. She had been cleaning out some old boxes of stuff from their attic. I had this real cool (back when mullets were in) Ovation black satin jacket when I was in high school. I thought for sure she would have tossed it when I went off to college. Anyway she still had it! Thank heavens for sentimental mothers!

Man I thought it was gone forever and kicked myself for years and years thinking it got tossed or ended up at a tag sale my parents had. I was beside myself when she called me. My wife on the other hand told me I have obsession issues with Ovation Instruments. She's correct, too bad!

I might take her out to a fancy dinner and wear it just to really twist her screws. I use to get the eye roll when I wore my Arctic Cat snowmobile jacket in the winter when I wasn't riding. She hated it, it was purple, lime green and white with a huge orange cat on the back. That jacket I still have and won't lose that one.
