This is an Adamas W597T made "for export" in 2002.
I got it from Al.
Mid-Depth bowl (I think) and feels much lighter than my 1681.
It has a nice ring to it.
It has an Optima in it, but I think that I will be playing in more Acoustic.
(I've got many guitars to plug-in)
Yeah, it has a coupla blemishes. But I am gonna Play it, not Display it.
Schaller tunas with ebony buttons.
I just got it a coupla hours ago... I am gonna play it now.

On second thought, no don't. Just play the heck out of it and enjoy. Looks like a great find.

It sounds NICE.
Through an amp it sounds good due to the Optima.
It also has a Saddle that I have never seen before on an O.
The saddle has "steps" for each string... plus grooves for each string.
yeah... a really bad photo, so I searched the web and found this:
So, this is obviously an Ovation saddle...
But in 7+ years and over a hundred guitars, I have never seen one in-person.
Acoustically it just sounds Great all by itself.
The action is very nice and comfortable to play.
This is liable to become my go-to guitar.
So I may have to sell a bunch of guitars.
TAFKAR-- I have never played another W597 with a SMT or CVT finish, so I don't know.
I have compared a Textured 1778T to a Flame 1778t... and the Textured top sounded better.

Nice guitar! Please make a youtube video so we can all hear it.
Shirt on, please! I assume even OMA would wear pants in the video. |
