Location: East Wenatchee, WA | My 2080 only recently developed an occassional "ringing" sound from the B string when playing chords below the 5th fret. Usually a D or A chord brings it out. It will come and go as I move my figering closer or further from the fret.
It has not done it before, and recently I added a shim as I was getting some buzzing. I do see a slight amount of fret wear (didn't think I played that much).
Could it just be my "cheap" Adamas strings, or do I have a set up issue. Appreciate your thoughts. |

Oh and Mark....when you only own two guitars, you do play them a bit more :D :D :D |

Location: Boise, Idaho | And you probably play a lot better, too. If you get down to Boise, you could take back a couple loaners. |

Location: closely held secret | Go for it, Jeff. It's only 4 hours. See if you can pry his OFC away from him. Or at least his 87C... :D
How does I84 look between Hermiston & Boise this winter? |

Besides. It is only a hour and a half to Boise for me (and I don't own a Porche). |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Wabbit, I let you borrow my 1537 for a week. OK, you stored it and changed the strings and fixed a rattle, so it was more like renting it for a week. Same rent would apply to Jeff. I've always got something that needs new strings. No transporting them on motorcyles, though, Jeff. Airplanes would be OK. Guitars just don't fit well in the Boxster, althought the OFC was my passenger to San Diego and back. I would have been passing through on Presidents' Day weekend, but gas is so pricey and flights are so cheap, we decided to fly. |

Location: closely held secret | You are a generous soul, Mark. I did enjoy babysitting your 1537. So much that I specifically went looking for the 87C (pretty much a cutaway version).
For the record, I also enjoyed the short time I spent at your home on my way to TF, and appreciated the rides in the Boxster. |

Location: Boise, Idaho | Dave was actually very well-behaved. One of his Dr. Jekyl days. When she saw the pictures of his guitar collection, she thought he was a bit obsessive, though. |
