| My Packers lost, but I'm still pulling for the Giants to upset the Pat's. If the Giants win it may be a small margin, if the Pat's win it may be the typical superbowl blow-out. |

... Good question?
What would we call it if we were to change the name? Rugby??
As far as who I think will win, well I'm going for the Patriots, but it really doesn't matter to me as long as it's a good game. |

Should I see:
Cloverfield, and New York destroyed, yet again by another monster (poor new york) or
There will be blood, a tale of the oil fields of CA at the turn of the century.
Alot of this will depend on my niece. I guess NYC gets wacked tonight. |

Sorry Trader Jim but the Dolphins are out of the running. Have been since week 2. :D Mike, I really dislike the dolphins. Actually I'm from Buffalo, so i have to deal with the same thing every year.
BTW, I didn't see the Titans in the roster either... :D |

Based on the last game, I think the Giants have as good a chance as any of knocking of the Pats here. Either way, it'll be a good game...too bad I'm leaving for work for the next 5 hours.

| So now the debate begins - which Manning is the better QB? Speaking as a one-time defensive player this was a great game. |

Multiple good/great seasons vs Eli's string of a 1/2 dozen good games. |

Very watchable game with good dramatics all the way to the final seconds. Fox had to love it! |

| I'd tend to agree, but ya gotta give Eli props for leading an underdog team in a last-minute TD series to win against a team as powerful as NE is this year. That was American football at its finest. Brady just looked dazed and confused, Eli kept his head and did what had to be done.
BTW - given that I bleed orange and blue as a lifelong G8R, I was never particularly a fan of either Manning when they played college ball. ;) |

Gotta give it to Eli, he pulled this team together at the end and did what few thought possible. It's things like this that make me watch the game...takes a LOT of heart to keep playing to the end of one like that.
Makes me feel better that my Hawks lost...GB beat them, lost to NYG, who won the superbowl. At least we didn't lose to the losers. :D |

As for There Will Be Blood, it's manly and intellectual. Do not expect escapist entertainment. More than story, it's a character study. Three main characters, the father (non-father) and miner, the son (non-son)and a really creepy preacher (who may have a split personality).
It takes place somewhere in the dry parts of southern california and the music really ads to the mood.
It was funny walking home ... we could hear everyone cheering the football game, but the streets were empty. Pretty cool. |

And everybody knows how exciting, earth-shaking, and rousing a Tom Petty performance is...
PS... I actually Like Tom Petty, but it's not a Who concert... |

The offensive line for New England did not play as well as the Giants Defensive line. |

| All the pressure was on the Pat's for the win, so the Giants just had to be cool and play smart football. My '72 Dolphins record is safe once again... :) |
