Hello all. I'm a long time Ovation guitar user and new here at these forums. I have a simple question .... a "hybrid" electric Ovation guitar was given to me about 6 or 7 years ago at NAMM. It's an electric solid body with pickups and acts as such but it has one knob which can blend in an acoustic modeled guitar .... think the newer Line 6 Variax guitars for an example. My question is, did Ovation ever actually release something like this or do I have a one-off? I do know that they hadn't perfected the modeling part but it actually sounds pretty good!

Any info on this would be appreciated!

Not sure about rare. Creatively marketed, highly under-rated (like that's anything new).
