Location: Cork, Ireland | Have a Hofner Shorty travel guitar. http://www.hofner-guitars.com/electric-guitars/solid-body-guitars/s...
I like almost everything about it except the small body makes it hard to hold and makes it neck-heavy.
So... I thought I'd make a full-size body and transplant the neck, hardware etc. to it. It has one humbucker, vol and tone control, sort of a combined bridge/saddle. Might add a single-coil too.
Design ideas anyone? I like a telecaster type body but it might look funny with the headstock.

Once I can cut out the shape, and get the neck pocket right, I can work out the details later!

Location: Upper Left USA | Here's an offering. In there is a Tacoma Papoose and a Woody version, both A scale. On the left is a Deacon shaped home spun. A short scale on the Deacon shape would be nice!

Actually the Shorty is a full scale (or very close to it). All I need now is a lump of hardwood. |

Location: Cork, Ireland | Getting there. Sounds quite dark on the humbucker. Might add a single couil too.

All the hardware is the same as before except for the bridge. Bridge is connconnected to the negative terminal of volume pot. It gets quieter when i touch the metal casimg of the plug. Any ideas what might cauae this? |
