Location: Illinois | I've recently bought a 1657 on bay, which will arrive in the next week or two. The Ovation web site lists the pickup on this model as a stereo piezo. This conjours up images of the 50's Gretsch guitars with the top three strings coming out of ons channel and the bottom three coming out of the other channel. Assuming that the pickup/preamp still functions what should this system actually do?
