Location: Boise Idaho | A while back my W597 suffered some damage to the top which resulted in a trip to the Mother ship for revival. A new top was in order so I decided to go for a full makeover. Deep contour bowl, new electronics, etc… I’m very happy with the end result!
A big thanks to Kim and all the other talented folks who worked on this!

I believe it is stained black maple. It is very thin and looks almost inlaid when looking straight at it. |

But I'm curious...what are the parameters regarding a complete rebuild like this vs just buying a custom order? Is there a minimum amount of the old guitar that has to be included in the new one in order for the project to be considered a "service job" rather than a "custom job"? |
