Hi everyone, newb here. I just purchased a used, Ovation Celebrity LIMITED EDITION MFCC 026. I can't seem to find info about what is special about "limited edition" it is enlaid right into the fret board. Can someone give me some info/history on this Ovation.
Thanks
Ron

Hi Ron,
By the model designation I would Guess that it was specially made for Musicians' Friend.
Many Celebrity's have 12th Fret doodads. "Limited", "Special", "Limited Edition".
There were some that said Ovation 2000 on the 12th Fret...
Thereby causing confusion to some folks with the 2000 Collectors' Edition or the Millennium.
Yours is probably a CC026 that was built to MF's specs.
Much like the Celebrity's with the GC code that are built for Guitar Center. (not Glenn Campbell)

How's it Play?

Thanks for the reply! Actually it is still in FedEx's hands, I should have it later this week. Not sure how old it is and it doesn't really matter. Just trying to keep my hands busy waiting for it to show up LOL. It does come with the original hard case and the label inside does say " Model MFCC 026" Looks to be in very good shape.
Anyway thanks for the info

Ron

Hi Ron,

Feel free to keep your hands busy in the other sections. You now have access to the rest of the forum.

Congrats on the new axe.
