I just caught the tail end of a comment on the Howard Stern show today, where Howard mentioned he had just been given a free $5000 Adamas from someone at Fender. Does anyone know anything about this?

They don't talk about it in this YT video...
But as you can see in the photo, they had an Al D Legend and the bridge popped-off.
Hearing the way that they talk about guitars, I don't think that they have any high-falutin' concepts about Care & Maintenance.

So Fender (being market orientated) may have sent Howard a new guitar.
I am not sure that Fender would send ME a new guitar if I killed my Ovation...

I heard that last night on the way home.

Stern went into detail on how nice the guitar was and strummend a few chords while saying how great it sounded.

And it did sound good.

Well done Ovation marketing.
