Location: Phoenix AZ | For Sale: ADAMAS I 2007 MODEL 1687-2 REVERSE REDBURST.
I purchased this guitar brand new in 2007 and it has never left the case. Never played. Zero. Nothing. Brand new with all the hangtags still intact.
Don't confuse this with the current model 1687GT (and it's $5500. list price), this guitar is the Real McCoy built in limited numbers to the same specs and details of the original Adamas I. It has the metallic speckled deep bowl and the stereo FET pre-amp with wooden volume and tone controls (the so-called 2-Knobber). This guitar is a classic in every way and has the sound that will knock you for a loop if you've never heard one of these.
I have heard that the RED reissues were built in very few numbers, something like 4-5 total and this is one of them. If you are reading this thread you KNOW what this guitar is, so I will spare the details. Just do a Search. Condition is BRAND FREAKING NEW. Includes case.
Yours for $2600. w/ FREE FedEx shipping in the 48 US states. Will consider reasonable payment plan.

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | You guys are KILLING me! ... I had to back away from the internet for a while while taking care of grandkids during my son and daughter-in-law's middle east deployment. So I come back for a peek and EVERYONE is selling their hottest guitars. I'm down to three now and selling off "stuff" to be ready for a possible move. 'Sure wish I was in a buying position right now. |

Location: SoCal | Heck, any interest later, as I have two of the original four, let me know as I well sell one; may also sell as new reissue -8. Only because I have several 1687's, a 47RI, and an original slothead.
Dave is right, the reissues are great Adamas I's.
Vince, appreciate your service for your family, really tough when deployed. We do our best as parents, then grandparents. |

Location: GATLINBURG TENNESSEE :) | Thanks Tony...This was round two for them, and now that we're in our mid fifties, there's just no more energy left for parenting. I'ts been rough, but of course we would do again if we had to.(If we lived through it ( Now we are finally able to get away on a much-needed vacation to the Carolina outer-banks next week, with a short stay in Gatlinburg. I am already picturing the sunrises and sunsets, listening to the waves at night, and sipping wine coolers. Oh... and of course, playing Adamas/Ovation guitars... It just don't get any better than that. (:
