Arguably the best guitarist (nylon, non-classical) in world. Certainly one of the most loved and influential.

Ase, Maestro. Vaya con Dios!

"Never able to read music, Paco de Lucia memorized everything he performed in concert, most famously Joaquin de Rodrigo's 'Concierto de Aranjuez'":

R.I.P. Paco de Lucia. One of the greatest guitarists who ever lived. The guitar world mourns, but in the world of flamenco, this is the greatest imaginable loss.

Very sad day indeed, Gracias, Maestro!
