Location: Texas | I found a used one in very good condition at GC and snagged it as a replacement for my cracked 1112 Custom Balladeer.
The sound is amazing. I love my new toy but now I have a few questions.
1) Does anyone know what model Ovation case fits it? I emailed Sweetwater and they couldn't tell me.
2) What should be used to clean the top since it is the textured finish like the bowl?
Many thanks! |

Or an 8358 Zero Gravity foam and cloth bag.
If it is a 1868T it is an 8117 hard case, 8317 foam bag.
LOOK HERE
Congratulations... Post Pics.

MOLDED CASE - DEEP & MID.......but I defer to OMA to verify as he has cornered the market on T's.......
For cleaning I use slightly damp cloth....
They are awesome guitars. |

Location: Tennessee | Yep. USA have an ebony fretboard ... imports are (stained) rosewood. You can see the difference.

Korean T's have two dots on the bridge where the bolts are...
USA T's don't have bolts.
Korea T's don't have Truss Rod Covers like most USA T's.
BUT, some of the older Elite T's have a Kaman Bar neck... no truss rod cover.

I had the same question prior to buying mine. I found these two postings in the forum that helped me make the decision to get the USA T instead.http://www.ovationfanclub.com/megabbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=30159&posts=22&highlight=elite%20t%20vs%20elite%20tx&highlightmode=1#M400640 http://www.ovationfanclub.com/megabbs/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=29530&posts=17&highlight=elite%20t%20vs%20elite%20tx&highlightmode=1#M390155
Both provided comparisons and insight between the models. |
