Location: SoCal | Guys/Gals, I have a '97 Collectors that I do not play as I got the Takamine EF417S Parlor (Bearclaw top, Koa sides and back) from T28. Sad, just sits on a stand in my living room.
I need to check my 97C out tomorrow but when last played - excellent condition for the guitar and original case. EXCEPTION is that the seller (racecar69) failed to disclose that one 'ear' of the headstock was missing. So, although the factory (at that time) could have repaired it for big bucks, I elected to take off the other 'ear'. The finish is oiled so it looks natural as there is no break in the finish, as if made that way. Can't use the headstock as a paddle but pictures will show a good looking head stock. Others (to include OFC'ers) have seen it and didn't even notice the ears were missing.
As I required the seller to adjust the purchase price, I expect that I will be able to offer it at a great price. Check out my listing tomorrow. |

is it a wide neck? If yes, you can send me pics to burg dot bernhard at gmx dot net.
Thanks

I'm just curious. Do you still own all the guitars listed under your signature? That is an amazing collection! |

Jim, yes that's my current collection. I have moved to my Girl friend and I'm just refurbishing our new home. When I've finished my new Music-room, I'll post some pics of it.
